About GSB

49 years of switching things on.

From a single counter on Gandhi Road to a lighting brand stocked across Gujarat, GSB is the story of one family that decided Ahmedabad deserved better light.

What we believe

Good light should be invisible. You notice it only when it fails, and we would rather you never noticed. So we build every GSB fixture as though it were going into our own home, and we make honest light that simply works.

The beginning

It started with a counter, a ledger and a promise.

In 1977, Murli Electricals opened its doors at Khadia Char Rasta, Gandhi Road, in the heart of Ahmedabad's wholesale electrical market. Electricians came for switches and wire and stayed for the advice.

When India moved to LED, we didn't just change suppliers. We created GSB, our own brand, so that we could control what went inside every fixture we sold.

Three things we never compromise

The GSB standard.

01

Honest specs

If the box says 100 W, you get 100 W. We don't inflate lumens or hide what's inside.

02

Built for India

Voltage dips, 45° summers, monsoon humidity. Every design decision starts from where the light will actually live.

03

People first

Most of our customers are electricians and shopkeepers we've known for years. We earn the next order by standing behind the last one.

Come and see the light for yourself.

Our Gandhi Road showroom is a working space. Switch fixtures on, compare colour temperatures and talk to people who know lighting.
