Murli Electricals ("GSB", "we", "us") is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. This notice explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made under it.
01Data we collect
We collect only what you give us when you send an enquiry, call or message us:
- Name, mobile number, and optionally email address and city
- Your buyer type (for example electrician or dealer), the product you are interested in, and your message
- Basic technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address and browser type, held in server logs
We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data. If analytics are added later, they will be privacy-preserving or used only with your consent.
02Purpose and legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give using the checkbox on our enquiry form, for these specified purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email
- To prepare quotations, process orders and provide warranty support
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records
We will not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.
04Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction, unless you withdraw consent sooner or a longer period is required by law (for example tax records). After that it is deleted.
05Your rights
As a Data Principal you may:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
- Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data
- Withdraw consent at any time. This is as easy as giving it: email us or reply "STOP" on WhatsApp.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
- Raise a grievance with us, and if you are unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India
06Security
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS transport, restricted access and secure hosting, to prevent personal data breaches. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
07Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
